Task: Today, to start class, we'll continue our exploration of the power of groups with notes and discussion defining the various types of groups. Then, you'll read "The Socialization Process and Its Impact on Children and Learning" as an introduction to the process of socialization. We'll use the ideas from this reading and some sample children's books as a basis for our next project. Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class working with a partner to develop ideas for your children's book.
