Objective: Assess ability to identify and locate bodies of water and countries in North Africa, Southwest, and Central Asia. Sort out key events and people related to Arab nationalism, the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, and the Armenian Genocide
Task: As you come into class, please clear your desks of everything except a pen or a pencil. To start class you will take your unit 3 map quiz. When you finish the quiz, please hand it in and quietly read the article 'From Tunis to Tehran" and answer the reading check questions. When everyone has finished their quizzes, we will discuss and take notes on Arab Nationalism and the fall of the Ottoman Empire and look at some Pan-Arabism propaganda sources.
