Objective: Identify and examine the main events of the French Revolution. Define enlightenment ideals that influenced the Revolution by examining a primary source document.
Task: We will begin class by discussing and reviewing the Divine Right of Kings activity from yesterday. Next, we'll watch a video about and take notes on the French Revolution. After the video, we'll review your notes to ensure comprehension. Lastly, we will read and look at the document "Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizenry" and identify Enlightenment ideas implemented in the early stages of the French Revolution.
