CPWC Day 39 - Map Quiz & Columbian Exchange

Objective: Asses knowledge of European geography.  Describe the Columbian Exchange and its impact on the American continents and Europe.  Explain the themes of continuity and change in early modern Europe.

Task: Good morning!  Today, we'll finish the activity identifying secularism and humanism in the Scientific Revolution and Enlightenment. Then, please prepare for today's map quiz by clearing your desk. You will have 25 minutes to complete the quiz. When you've finished, please hand in the quiz and take out the activity you completed for the Renaissance. You will now be working on Station #4 the Columbian Exchange. Reference the Map projected on the board and http://www.shmoop.com/columbian-exchange/summary.html to answer the questions and complete the charts on the Columbian Exchange.  Next, I'll introduce and explain your next project. With the remaining class time, you will be allowed to work on this project.
