Objective: Compare and contrast key components of monotheistic religions in the Middle East. Review and identify the causes and consequences of the Armenian Genocide
Task: Please clear your desks and spread out in the classroom. We'll begin class with your map quiz on North Africa, Southwest Asia, and Central Asia. When you finish the quiz please work on your perspectives packet. Once everyone has finished with their map quiz, we will spend some time discussing the "Heirs of Abraham." Then, we'll take notes on the history and key components of Islam, Judaism, Christianity, and Zoroastrianism. With the remaining 25 minutes of class, we will watch a video on the Armenian genocide.
