Objective: Compare and contrast key components of the monotheistic religions of the Middle East. Identify the contributions of Islamic civilizations to world cultures.
Task: To begin class, we'll review the stations activity from yesterday and break down what we learned from the stations into a graphic organizer. Then, I will spend a few minutes reviewing the "Roots of Muslim Rage" article and answering your questions. Next you'll complete a DBQ investigating the contributions of Islam to world civilizations. Finally, we will reconvene to discuss the impact, contributions and influence of Islamic civilizations to other world cultures.
