Soc Day 23 - Exploring Gender

Objective: Consider gender as a social construct and examine gender in the US.

Task:  As you come into class, please get out your computer.  Today, you'll continue exploring gender in sociological terms.  Log onto the Moodle.  Read and take notes on the textbook excerpt, "Gender, Sex, & Sexuality."  Then, work through "Gender in America."  If you finish before the end of class, please work on your gender vocabulary and/or read "Sex Stereotyping" for tomorrow.
