Objective: Identify key components of history and development in the Middle East.
Task: First, we'll get in our groups from yesterday to complete the guided reading activity for Chapter 21. Then, we'll review and discuss the unit 3 essential questions. Next, we will delve into the origins, histories, and practices of the three major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. We will complete a flow chart on the origins of these religions and a chart organizing the fundamental beliefs, people, and practices associated with these religions. At the end of the class you will silently read and highlight the "Heirs of Abraham" article.
