HWC1.2 Day 28 - Map Quiz, FCP, & Chronology

Objectives: Assess knowledge and understanding of Middle East map.  Continue posting research to the FCP Diigo group and begin contributing to the FCP13-1 wiki.  Identify the contributions of Islamic civilization to world cultures.  Create a timeline to mark significant developments in the region.

Task:   We'll spend the first 25 minutes of class on the unit 2 map quiz.  If you finish the quiz before your classmates, please turn it in to the back table and get out your computer to work on FCP.  Before you begin work, please check your school email account for a message sent yesterday.  While you're working on FCP today, make sure you are making contributions to the wiki and the discussion thread.  This is also good time to check your "Wiki Editing & Collaboration Rubric."

At 7:35, you'll put the computers away and we'll quickly review the DBQ on Islamic contributions to world civilization.  Then, we'll finish class with notes on the history of the Middle East.
