HWC10.11 Day 27 - RMR Quiz, Islam, & Chronology

Objectives:  Assess knowledge and understanding of "Roots of Muslim Rage."  Identify the contributions of Islamic civilization to world cultures.  Create a timeline to mark significant developments in the region.

Task:  The first few minutes of today's class will be used to discuss "Roots of Muslim Rage."  You'll then have 30 minutes to complete the reading comprehension quiz.  When you've finished the quiz, please pick up "From Tunis to Tehran" to read and complete while you wait for your classmates to finish.

After everyone has finished the quiz, we'll discuss Friday's DBQ and the complex role of women in Islam (see below).  Finally, we'll begin our review of the chronology of the region.
