HWC1.2 Day 25 - Monotheism & Sectarianism

Objectives:  Post research to the FCP Diigo group and begin contributing to the FCP13-1.  Compare and contrast key components of monotheistic religions in the Middle East.

Task:  We'll spend the first 15 minutes of class working with on FCP.  Today, make sure that you have posted to the wiki discussion threads and to commented to handshakes of all members in your group.  Over the weekend, you should continue gathering research and begin contributing to your category on the FCP wiki.  Remember to link information in the text and to cite sources at the bottom of your topic page.

After computers are stowed away, we'll play a game to review the North Africa, Southwest Asia, and Central Asia map.  Then, we'll continue our examination of the religions of the Middle East with a reading entitled "The Heirs of Abraham."  Finally, we'll end class with an audio slideshow examining the Shia-Sunni split.

Homework:
