HWC Day 7 - The Beginning of History

Objectives:  Assess knowledge and understanding of chapter 1 of G&D.  Trace the development of humanity from the origins of man to the 21st century.

Task:  The first 30 minutes of class will be used to take the reading comprehension quiz on chapter 1 of G&D.  Then, we'll discuss and debrief on "Becoming Human."  Finally, we'll spend the remainder of class examining and taking notes on periodization in history.

Homework:

• Friday, September 6 - Primer presentations due at BEGINNING of class
• Monday, September 9 - Foundations Investigation due
• Monday, September 9 - Imperialism diagram, chart, & reading questions due
• Tuesday, September 10 - Primer vocabulary quiz
• Thursday, September 12 - Unit 1 Test
