Task: When you come into class, please clear your desk of everything except a pen or a pencil. We'll spend the first 30 minutes of class taking your Africa map quiz. After you've finished the quiz, please turn your quiz on the back table and pick up the resistance, nationalism, & independence reading. Read through this will you wait for your classmates to finish.
Once everyone has finished the quiz, you'll return your computers and we'll discuss the African nationalist readings. We'll focus specifically on how the nationalist movements embraced and/or rejected European ideals.
