CPWC Day 24 - Geography of Southwest Asia

Objective:  Examine the effect of geography, resources, and early history of Southwest Asia, Central Asia, and North Africa.

Task:  As you come into class, please get out your North Africa map.  After I check homework, we'll spend the first portion of class labeling the North Africa section of our master map for this unit.  Then, you'll be assigned to read and diagram one of the three sections of chapter 21.  Finally, for the last portion of class, you'll meet with other students who read the same section to ensure accuracy and completion of notes.

• Thursday, October 3 - Comment due to "Unit 3 Current Events" forum on Moodle by 3:00 pm
• Friday, October 4 - Reading notes due Chapter 16 (sections 2 & 3), Chapter 19 (section 2), & Chapter 22
• Monday, October 7 - Reading quiz on Chapter 16 (sections 2 &3), Chapter 19 (section 2) & Chapter 22 (notes may be used)
• Wednesday, October 9 - Unit 3 Map Quiz
• Friday, October 11 - Unit 3 Test
• Friday, October 18 - Field trip to Museum of Jewish Heritage
• Wednesday, October 30 - Mid-Term Exam
