Task: As you come into class, please pick up your computer, the Africa map, and a "Scramble for Africa" worksheet. We'll spend the first portion of class investigating the justifications, course, and impact of European incursion in Africa. Then, we'll spend a few minutes outside demonstrating the barriers to African colonization prior to industrialization. Finally, in the last portion of class, we'll tie together the video, your homework, the DBQ, and the scramble for Africa with "Let's Consider."
