Task: We'll start today's class with an activity in which you begin to develop the mindset of a sociologist. Specifically, we'll discuss the manner in which various groups have influenced you through the different life stages. Next, we'll continue notes with an examination of patterns in sociology and the sociological imagination.
Finally, I'll introduce the "Pioneers of Sociology" project before we head to the library for research. In order to complete this activity, you'll need to create a VoiceThread account. Once you've created your account, be sure to personalize your account with an appropriate image that represents you.
