Soc Day 2 - Foundations of Sociology

Objective:  Build class rapport and begin to develop an understanding of how society influences our lives.  Examine the ways in which society impacts everyday behaviors.

Task:  Today, we'll begin our investigation of sociology with an activity that will help us build our learning community.  Then, you'll complete a questionnaire and we'll discuss the implications of these answers.  Next, we'll begin notes with an examination of patterns in sociology and the sociological imagination.  Finally, we'll end class with a discussion on the influence of groups in different life stages.
