Objective: Examine the indigenous and diffused religions and philosophies of East Asia. Explore the Silk road and its impacts on the culture of China. Organize and describe select events of Chinese events in a timeline.
Task: We'll begin class by finishing our religion and philosophy notes of East Asia. We will then review the Silk Road activity and identify connections between cultures, religions, philosophies and the Silk Road. We will examine and review the primary sources that relate to Buddhism and the Mandate of Heaven. Next we will use the white boards and do a quick review game/quiz to test our knowledge on China.
