Objectives: Identify characteristics of the 6 countries in East Asia, including geography, political structure, location, and cultures. Describe the manner in which geography and location have influenced the development of East Asia.
Task: You will find the desks in a new arrangement when you walk into class. Locate your name on the board and report to your assigned table. Your group will use the packets at each station to examine the characteristics of the 6 countries in East Asia. You'll compile your information in the stations packet. You will have ten minutes at each station. We'll use the last 15 minutes of class to label the countries, bodies of water, and major cities of East Asia on a master map.
