Objective: Define history and the social sciences as they will be utilized in HWC. Collaborate in a Web2.0 environment to create an informative presentation.
Task: As we begin our second week of class, it is essential to consider the process of critical thinking. We'll define and identify the steps for 'critical thinking.' Then, after a brief introduction to SlideRocket, you will work with your group to create your presentation. As you are creating your presentation, consider the following:
- Although you will all have access to the SlideRocket presentation, only one person can edit at a time.
- The purpose of the presentation is to help your classmates understand the main ideas of your chosen section. The presentation should complement the summary.
- The presentation must be at least 3 minutes but no more than 4 minutes in length.
- Be sure that you double check the rubric for grading criteria.
You will also have a portion of class tomorrow to finish your presentation but ALL presentations must be ready at the beginning of class on Thursday.

- Due Thursday, 9/6 - Primer presentations (at beginning of class)
