Objectives: Continue building and refining FCP personas. Examine and assess the status of Africa before and after European incursion. Identify key events and justifications for European imperialism in Africa.
Task: After recording the daily objective, please get out your computer. In the first 20 minutes, we'll discuss Internet safety, answer questions about FCP & "Whole New Mind" assignments. Next, we'll spend a few minutes discussing the DBQ documents that we began in class yesterday. Before moving on to the next activity, we'll pause to check for understanding by posting a reflection to the Moodle. Finally, the remainder of class will be used to complete a directed research activity on the scramble for Africa.
FCP Ning Note: Please tag all of your posts with "SVHS_Fall12" AND "FCP12-2." Remember, there are no spaces in tags - use an underscore (_) or dash (-) to indicate space. Blank spaces denote separations for tags. See images below for directions.
