Objective: Consider the themes of geography. Build a foundational understanding of culture.
Task: After you copy our daily objective, we'll finish our review of the themes of geography. Then we'll spend some time discussing the current status of the world's population. We'll also begin our notes on culture. Finally, we'll read aloud an excerpt from an anthropological study of Naceriman culture.
Homework:
- TOMORROW- Reading quiz on Chapter 1 (pp. 2-13 only) of Geography - students will be allowed to use reading notes if they are brought to class
- Friday, 9/7 - "Foundations Investigation" due by 3:00 (if not handed in during class)
- Wednesday, 9/12 - Unit 1 Test
