CPWC Day 4 - Using Library Resources

Objective:  Identify and utilize library resources that will be necessary in HWC.

Task:  At the beginning of class, you'll submit "Why Are Maps Important?"  Then, you'll head down to the library where Miss Ziemba will review resources and tools that will be used in CPWC.  While at the library, you'll begin working on your "Foundations Investigation."

As you complete the  "Foundations Investigation" please consider:
  • All work should be your OWN - this is NOT a collaborative activity and answers should be provided in your own words!
  • Be sure to read and follow directions.  If anything is unclear, ask or e-mail Mrs. Friday.
  • You must use a PRINT copy of History Today or Current History to complete question 25 and PRINT copy of The Economist, Time, Newsweek, US News & World Report, or The New York Times for question 26 .  It may be useful to complete these questions in class OR to check out the periodicals to work on at home.
  • Responses to questions 25 to 27 must be posted in NoodleTools and shared with Mrs. Friday.
    • Period 3/4 Drop Box -  "CPWC 3/4 - Foundations Investigation"
