Soc Day 4 - Theoretical Perspectives

UPDATE:  Due to the delayed start we only reviewed the vocabulary in class today.

Objective:  Investigate the lives and ideas of select sociologists.  Examine the way society impacts everyday behavior.

Task:  We'll begin class with a game to review vocabulary.  Then, we'll continue our unit 1 notes with an exploration of the dominant theoretical perspectives.  Finally, you'll use the last portion of class to work on your "Pioneers of Sociology" project.

• Monday, January 27 - Parent information sheet (GoogleForm via Moodle) & email contact
• Tuesday, January 28- Unit 1 Vocabulary due
• Wednesday, January 29 - "What is Sociology?" reading due (be ready to discuss in class)
• Thursday, January 30 - Pioneers of Sociology posts due on VoiceThread BEFORE class starts
• Friday, January 31 - Pioneers of Sociology reflection posts due on VoiceThread by 3:00 pm
