HWC Day 74 - Defining Latin America

Objective:  Assess knowledge and understanding of Asia and Oceania maps.  Investigate the status of Latin America prior to and immediately after contact with Europeans.

Task:  Today we'll begin class with your map quiz.  After you've finished the quiz, you'll read, highlight, and answer questions on an article about the Aztec empire.  Finally, you'll spend the last portion of class investigating slavery and revolution in Latin America via links on the Moodle.

Homework:

• January 16 - HWC Final Exam at 7:35

• "Internet Journey Through Oceania" (on the Moodle)

Anything not completed by 11:59 pm on January 10 will become a zero.
