CPWC Day 2 - Foundations Investigation in Library

Objective:  Identify and utilize library sources for CPWC.

Task:  As you come into class, I'll give you your username and password for the online textbook.  I'll also distribute and explain the foundations investigation that we'll be working on in the library.  Also, before heading down to the library, Miss Gallagher will review a couple of assignments that you may want to get a head start on over the weekend.

As you complete the  "Foundations Investigation" please consider:
  • All work should be your OWN - this is NOT a collaborative activity and answers should be provided in your own words!
  • Be sure to read and follow directions.  If anything is unclear, ask or e-mail Mrs. Friday.
  • You must use a PRINT copy of History Today or Current History to complete question 25 and PRINT copy of The EconomistTimeNewsweekUS News & World Report, or The New York Times for question 26 .  It may be useful to complete these questions in class OR to check out the periodicals to work on at home.
  • Responses to questions 25 to 27 must be posted in NoodleTools and shared with Mrs. Friday.
    • Dropbox - "CPWC Spring '14 - Foundations Investigation"
  • To complete the chart for question 28, go to http://watchingamerica.com/News/
