CPWC Day 7 - Defining Culture

Objectives:  Establish a basis for studying culture by defining the seven elements of culture.  Demonstrate two ways that culture is integrated.

Task:  Happy Friday!  Today, we'll start class by reading "What is Culture?" in small groups.  Then, we'll spend a few minutes discussing the article and play a game to review the vocabulary.  Next, we'll take notes on the characteristics of culture and begin examining the elements of culture.  Finally, we'll analyze the culture of Saucon Valley.
