CPWC Day 79 - Latin America in the 20th Century

Would you like to use your smartphone or tablet to help you study for maps?  Check out my "Apps for Maps" post for a list of FREE map review apps.

Objective:  Explore contemporary issues in Latin America.

Task:  The first portion of class will be dedicated to the Latin America map quiz.  When you hand in your quiz, you'll pick up a worksheet on General Pinochet in Chile.  After everyone has finished the quiz, we'll spend a few minutes discussing your options for social studies electives.  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class examining Latin America in a global context (see resources below).

Homework:
  • Monday, January 13 - Latin America map quiz
  • Thursday, January 16, 11:15 am - CPWC final exam for pd. 3-4
  • Friday, January 17, 7:35 am - CPWC final exam for pd. 6-9
