Soc Day 36

Objective:  Examine race and ethnicity in a sociological context.   Use technology to create a multimedia presentation detailing the sociological interpretation and impact of a social problem.

Task:  We'll start class with a review of the last section of notes on race and ethnicity.  Then, we'll begin our last section of notes on socialization.  Finally, we'll use the remainder of class to work on your final project.  Most importantly, those of you needing the FlipCams should shoot your footage.

Homework:

• Friday, 5/31 - Gran Torino reflection essay due
• Tuesday, 6/4 - Final project due at beginning of class
• Thursday, 6/6 - Units 3 & 4 Test
