HWC10.11 Day 65 - History of South Asia

Objective:  Describe the major historical developments of modern South Asia prior to European advancement.  Analyze the impact of imperialism and nationalism on the culture of South Asia.

Task:  As you come into class, please pick up and read "The White Man's Burden." We'll focus on the history of South Asia today.  During our review of the chronology, we'll contrast the perspectives of the British and Indians on British imperialism.  We'll also examine the figure and influence of Mohandas Gandhi.

Homework:
