Objective:  Summarize the impact of imperialism on the people and cultures of Southeast Asia.  Describe how globalization and industrialization has changed society and economies in Southeast Asia and Oceania.

Task:  Today, we'll finish our investigation of Southeast Asia and Oceania.  During today's class you should complete the following:

• Reflection posts and comments on The Killing Fields on Moodle forums (due Tuesday, 5/28)
• "Internet Journey Through Oceania & Australia" on Moodle (due Wednesday, 5/29)

These activities are to be completed INDIVIDUALLY and NOT in a shared GoogleDoc or in groups. As you complete each activity, hand in your work either on paper, through email, or through GoogleDrive.

After you've finished the activities above, please define the Latin America vocabulary terms listed on the Moodle.  You will have a quiz on these terms on Thursday, May 30.

Finally, if you've finished all of the above, you may work on your research and reflection essay.  Please make sure to to check your email for "Final Essay Pointers and Reminders."
