Objective: Summarize the impact of imperialism on the people and cultures of Southeast Asia. Examine totalitarianism, nationalism, and democracy in Myanmar.
Task: We'll use the first part of class to watch a recording of the NetGenEd Awards ceremony. After we've congratulated the winners, we'll finish up The Killing Fields and discuss the genocide in Cambodia.
