Objective: Summarize the impact of imperialism on the people and cultures of Southeast Asia. Examine totalitarianism, nationalism, and democracy in Myanmar.
Task: Today's class will hinge on directed research on Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Australia. In class, you should complete "Considering Southeast Asia," "Adaptive Failure: Easter's End," and "Internet Journey Through Oceania & Australia." All of these activities are located on the Moodle.
