HWC Day 52 - Monsoons, Religion, & Indus Valley Civilization

Objectives: Identify geographic characteristics of South Asia.  Examine the religious and philosophical traditions that shape the culture of South Asia.

Task:  When you arrive to class, please pick up and complete the monsoon worksheet.  After reviewing the worksheet, we'll begin notes on the history of South Asia.  Finally, you'll have the remainder of class researching and creating your religions presentation.  Ideally, your presentation will be FINISHED by the end of class.

  • Friday, May 1 - Part B (Competing Nationalisms) of Regional Study due
  • Monday, May 4 - R&R part I peer reviewer comments due in GoogleDoc by 3:00 pm
  • Monday, May 4 - Part D (Caste Out) of Regional Study due
