HWC Day 51 - Geography & Religions of South Asia

How has geography impacted historic and cultural developments in South Asia?

Objectives: Identify geographic characteristics of South Asia.  Examine the religious and philosophical traditions that shape the culture of South Asia.

Task:  When you arrive to class, please get out a white board and answer the question at the top of this post.  After a brief discussion on the geography of South Asia, we'll prepare for our trip to the museum.  Finally, you'll use the last portion of class to finish preparation on your religions presentations for tomorrow.

  • Friday, May 1 - Part B (Competing Nationalisms) of Regional Study due
