HWC Day 40 - Geography, Philosophy, & the Silk Road

Objective:  Describe the unique physical geography of East Asia.  Identify central tenets of religions and philosophies that have influenced East Asia.  Investigate the historic and cultural significance of the Silk Road.

Task:  Welcome back!  As you arrive to class, please pick up an essay rubric and write your name on the top.  Turn in your essay rubric on the podium as you pick up the "China or US?" comparison sheet.  We'll spend the first few minutes of class discussing the comparison sheet before beginning our notes on the geography and philosophical traditions of East Asia.    Then, you'll spend the last portion of class investigating the Silk Road.
