HWC Day 38 - FCP Diigo & Wiki Editing

Objective:  Post research to the FCP Diigo group and begin contributing to the FCP13-2 wiki to facilitate collaborative research.

Task:   To begin class, I'll distribute your mid-term exam study guide and explain the format for your mid-term exam.  Then, we'll spend the remainder of class working on the Flat Classroom Project wiki.

I'll spend a few minutes reviewing Diigo and the process for editing the FCP wiki (see also FCP Wiki Instructions).  Use the FCP Diigo group and the current events posts from your summer reading assignment to help you get started on your research.  When adding your own sources to the FCP Diigo group, be sure to annotate and to follow the project tagging standards.  Over the next week, we'll spend 20 minutes of each class working on the wiki.  However, you should also be checking the discussion thread, gathering research, and adding to the wiki at least one other time each day.  Your grade will be based upon both the quality and quantity of your contributions (see FCP checklist on the Moodle).
