Task: As you come into class, please get out your the "Heirs of Abraham" reading and religions notes. We'll spend the first portion of class discussing the emergence of monotheism. Then, we'll delve more deeply into the Sunni-Shia split and the term "jihad."
We'll take a short break from notes to play a map review game. Then, we'll begin our unit 3 history notes.
