HWC Day 34 - Defining Europe & Identifying FCP Teams

IMPORTANT FIELD TRIP INFORMATION:   For Friday's field trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage, all students MUST bring a packed lunch and dress appropriately (no ripped jeans, etc.).  We will meet in the cafeteria for attendance at 7:15 and the busses will leave promptly at 7:30.  If you miss the field trip bus, you will be expected in your regular classes.

Objective: Identify and label countries, cities, bodies of water, and major geographic features of Europe.  Determine FCP13-2 topic assignment and "meet" team members on the FCP Ning.

Task:   As you come into class, please pick up a Europe capitals matching list.  We'll spend the first few minutes of class checking your knowledge of the European capitals.  Then, we'll discuss the heritage of Europe and you'll use your worksheet to fill out the completion check.  We'll use the remainder of class to identify your topic on FCP13-2, connecting with your teammates on the FCP Ning, and researching your topic via the FCP Diigo group.

Homework:
