Objective: Investigate the political, social, and economic structure of Europe prior to and during the Renaissance.
Task: As you come into class, please get out your chapter 12 & chapter 14 reading notes. We'll spend the first 25 minutes of class taking the reading quiz. After you take the quiz, please turn in your quiz and pick up the history investigation from Mrs. Friday. After we review the printing press worksheet, you'll work in groups to define humanism, materialism, secularism, individualism, and classicism. In new groups, you'll apply your understanding by comparing select pieces of art. Finally, we'll begin our examination of the Reformation.

- TODAY - Reading quiz (Chapter 12, sections 1 & 3 and Chapter 14)
- Friday, October 25 - Europe map quiz
- Wednesday, October 30 - Mid-Term Exam
Follow-up note: The reading quiz has been postponed until tomorrow. Be sure to bring your reading notes to class. Today, each student completed 1 page of the Europe history investigation before watching an excerpt of "Money & Power."
