CPWC Day 30 - Islam, Cultural Diversity, & Genocide

Objective:  Examine cultural diversity in Southwest Asia.  Identify the contributions of Islamic civilization to world cultures.  Summarize the causes and effects of the Armenian genocide.

Task:  As you come into class, please pick up the hand-out and begin working.  After I return reading quizzes, we'll review the worksheet and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of cultural diversity.  Then, we'll spend a few minutes reviewing for tomorrow's map quiz.  Next, we'll discuss the DBQ from yesterday and identify contributions of Islam.  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class examining the Armenian genocide.
