Soc Day 3 - Patterns of Behavior

Objective:   Investigate the lives and ideas of the pioneers of sociology.  Examine the ways society impacts everyday behavior.

Task:  To start class, I'll check your completion and understanding of "What is Sociology?" with a quick review sheet. On the back of your paper, answer the following:

1. How is sociology related to the other social sciences?
2. List at least 2 questions for discussion.

 Then, we'll spend some time in a discussion circle examining the information presented in the article.  We'll end the first portion of class reading "Echo Boomers."   Finally, you'll use the last portion of class to record your contribution to the "Pioneers of Sociology" VoiceThread.
