HWC1.2 Day 47 - History of China (cont.)

Objective:   Examine the ideas and influence of indigenous and diffused religions in East Asia.  Analyze themes of interaction, interdependence, and diffusion along the Silk Road.  Summarize the impact of and Chinese reaction to western imperialism.

Task: Once again, we'll start class with notes on the religions of East Asia.  Then, we'll spend the next portion of class finishing our review of the China timeline.  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class finishing the directed research activity on the Silk Road.

Tomorrow, after the Boxer fishbowl discussion, you'll have time to work on your FCP outsource clip and video.  I'll have the FlipCams for you to use.  If you choose not to work on your video, you can use this class time to work on your East Asia assignments.
