Objective: Examine the religious and philosophical traditions that have shaped the cultures of South Asia. Evaluate the historical developments of South Asia.
Task: Happy Friday! When you arrive to class, please get into your groups for the religions presentations. As we listen to the presentations, you'll take notes on Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and Bahai. After the presentations, you'll complete a religions review activity on the Moodle. Finally, for the last portion of class, we'll begin our South Asia timeline.
