CPWC Day 39 - Reformation, Absolutism, & Democracy

Objectives:  Identify and label countries, cities, bodies of water, and major geographic features of Europe.  Describe the religious impact of man's changing conception of the universe and his place within it.

Task:   After you've finished recording the daily objective, please pick up the Europe capitals review.  We'll spend the first few minutes of class to review for tomorrow's map quiz.  Next, we'll finish watching The Protestant Reformation video.  Then, we'll spend a few minutes checking the last two sections of the history investigation from Monday.  Finally, we'll spend the remainder of class working on a DBQ examining the competing ideals of absolutism and democracy that emerged during eighteenth century.

Extra Credit Opportunity (up to 20 points):  Watch and take notes on Monday's presidential debate on foreign policy.  Then, type a one-to-two page reflection on the issues discussed in the debate.  Be sure to include your opinion on the issues in your reflection.
