Objective: Evaluate the agency of various groups in the Rwandan genocide.
Task: Today, we're going to examine the genocide in Rwanda. We'll start with a brief overview of the recent history of Rwanda. Then, we'll watch select scenes from the film Hotel Rwanda. Finally, we'll end class with a discussion on the different forms of collaboration and resistance that emerged during this time.
