CPWC Day 24 - Geography & Monotheism


Objectives:  Examine the effect of geography, resources, and early history of Southwest Asia, North Africa, and Central Asia.  Compare and contrast key components of the monotheistic religions that emerged in Southwest Asia.

Task:  As you prepare to record the daily objective, please get out your North Africa map and your stations packet.  After you've recorded the daily objective and homework has been checked for completion, we'll review the stations packet to identify key geographic and cultural trends in Southwest Asia and North Africa.  Next, we'll begin our examination of the emergence of monotheism in Southwest Asia with a flow chart illustrating the creation story of the Abrahamic religions and a chart comparing Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
