HWC Day 79 - Slavery in Latin America

Purpose:  Explore slavery in Latin America.  Consider various paths to independence in Latin America.

Task: Good morning!   When you arrive to class, please get out a pen or pencil in preparation for your reading quiz.  After you've finished the reading quiz, please read "Latin American Peoples Win Independence."  Finally, we'll use the TransAtlantic Slave Trade Database the last portion of class to explore slavery & maroons in Latin America.
