CPWC Day 78 - Geography & Indigenous Peoples of Latin America

Important:  We are rapidly approaching the end of the semester and the end of this course. Please check PowerSchool.  If you have any questions about your grade, please see me during period 12 as soon as possible.

Purpose:  Review the political geography of Latin America.  Compare and contrast the Aztecs and the Incas.  Consider the impact of Spanish colonization on the peoples and lands of Latin America.

Task: Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please submit your homework to the appropriate dropbox in Schoology.  Then, complete "Latitude and Longitude in South America."  After a quick review of the answers, we'll play a game to review the political map of Latin America.  Then, you'll work with a partner to compare Aztec and Inca cultures.  Finally, if there is any time remaining, we'll begin our exploration of Spanish colonization.
