HWC Day 75 - SE Asia, Australia, & Oceania Wrap-Up

Important:  We are rapidly approaching the end of the semester and the end of this course. Please check PowerSchool.  If you have any questions about your grade, please see me during period 12 as soon as possible.

Purpose:   Examine the unique culture, geography, and history of Oceania and Australia.

Task: Good morning!  When you arrive to class please clear your desk of everything except a pencil in preparation for the map quiz.  After you've finished the quiz, please turn it in at the back of the room and read the documents on Maori & Aboriginal cultures (linked below).  Then, use headphones or earbuds to watch "Kiribati: The Islands Being Destroyed By Climate Change."  If you finish with the work above before everyone has finished with the map quiz, please begin working on your Latin America map.  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class completing summary notes on the region.
